Eddie the Ed

This is a sculpture I did 23 years ago in clay. It is based on Derek Riggs Iron Maiden cover "Aces High". I ran a mold and did a latex shell and polyfoam fill. It's been sitting around slowly deteriorating. The latex is becoming quite hard and brittle and the foam is not so squishy any more. When I opened my Xmas gift this year (Makerbot Digitizer) I knew exactly what the first test object was going to be. So here he is preserved in digital form. Eddie the Ed (head)
