Description

Power supply cover for the Meanwell SE-600 (http://www.meanwell.com/productPdf.aspx?i=469) for printers that need moar power.

Has a mount for a 15A inlet with an integrated switch: https://www.digikey.com/product-detail/en/1-1609112-2/CCM1916-ND/2292077. If you are using a different one you'll need to adjust the powerSocket() module. The cover was designed to be as shallow as possible, I would recommend using high strand count 12-14 awg wire (silicone jacket) for wiring the inlet to the psu -- the psu terminal block is positioned awkwardly so the wires need to flex a bit or it's a pain to assemble.

Vents give adequate airflow and it seems to baffle the fan a bit. DC side has a wide slot for running wires out , a zip tie through the vents works as a makeshift strain relief. A future revision may feature powerpole or another high current connector mount, depending on when I get the itch to make my printer wiring cleaner.

Original openscad was designed for a PSU with terminals on only one side so it's a bit wonky to generate the dc and ac side: set COVER_DEPTH appropriately, and then call either dc_cover() or ac_cover(). I might fix that one day.

Note: dc side in the picture doesn't fit on fully, I have corrected the depth in the stl so there shouldn't be any problem but I haven't had a reason to reprint mine yet.
