Description
I am currently replacing all of the fragile acrylic parts on my Anet A8 with printed parts (681 grams replaced so far including the spool holder). I will have a backup of each part this way, and I will have something that dampens vibrations better than acrylic. Also, I can choose the color.
These parts were printed with PLA using 60 infill. They printed out very nicely without having to do much fiddling for them to fit. I was able to put in a cork motor gasket at this time to help with dampening.
Please give thanks to Simhopp and tzahov for creating these parts! I assembled them together in one place, and I modified the Y Axis Motor Mount so that the hole near the bottom extends to the bottom ... this allows for easier replacement and moving of wires, if necessary. The original Y Axis Motor Mount is also included, unaltered.
