Description
After being dissatisfied with the cludgy belt attachment on the G2S, which requires punching holes in the belt, I saw the lovely self-locking-belt design in http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1582570 but wanted something that mounted solidly to the existing components and didn't rely on new parts or friction-fit anywhere.
The resultant set of belt clamps mount to the aluminium block on the sliders using the original screws, and don't need any other modifications.
There are three versions - generally I'd suggest the "slimline" version, as my original non-slimline model causes a 2mm lateral belt offset which -might- introduce scaling errors at the top of prints; I've not done the maths to confirm, but better safe than sorry, personally.
The "slimline extended" version I'd suggest if you're already dealing with pre-cut belts, as otherwise I think the belt length in the original kit might be too short.
