Description
This is a pretty good looking lampshade designed for LED strip. I used 5050 white LEDs but you could use any colour including RGB LEDS.
The 12V LED strip in mine came to about 36W so I cut it into 2 x 18W strips. Each is powered by a 20W dimmable LED transformer that are housed vertically inside the inner section.
The cable is held in place with a cable tie as strain relief. Two 3mm machine screws and captive nuts hold it all together.
Two of the photos above are displayed incorrectly - this is the result of the weird behaviour of Thingiverse when presented with portrait photos! :-)
