Description

With these Nut Fasteners you can fasten hex-nuts by hand using two or three fingers. I made 5 dimensions (M3, M4, M5, M6, M8). The printing is very easy. No need for supports, Rafts or similar (see printing section).
You can fasten normal hex-nuts (e.g. DIN 980) as well as locking nuts (e.g. Din 985). The hollow space that holds the hex-nut has an additional torous hollow on the top, so that locking nuts fit smoothly in.
On the pictures you can see the M3, M4, M5 and M6 versions (I didn't print the M8 yet).
Feedback is highly apreciated. Have fun!

UPDATE 16.04.2017
Please remark: The nut hollows are designed very tight, so that nuts can be fastened as strong as possible without "slipping" through. Depending on your slicer/printer's printing accuracy, I recommend to print the M3 version first and to try if a M3 nut fits in. If needed scale the stl file in your slicer accordingly.
