Description
This is my Y-axis upgrade for Malyan M150 with original belt.
The original belt idler and tensioner is free to move and rotate so I redesigned it to make the Y-axis more rigid and easier to adjust for belt tension.
Attention: you have to drill 2 new holes in the front frame. Do at your own risk. Measure carefully before drill.
This idler uses more common F624 bearing (also normal 624zz are suitable).
I printed all the parts in nGen but also PLA should works at 0.2mm, 100%infill, 2 perimeter
Print items the in the orientation they drop in a slicer.
NO SUPPORTS NEEDED!
Youl will need:
x2 Bearings F624 (or 624zz)
x2 M3 nut
x1 M3x30 screw
x1 M6x30 (or 40) comon wrench bolt (corrected)
x2 M4x15
x1 M4x25
x3 M4 nuts
x2 M4 washer (optional, only if the bearing are loose)
The knob you see in the photo, used to tension the belt is from http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1862226
