Description
Hello everyone!
As promised I have now uploaded all the parts that are finished so far. Mind you, this is a work in progress, so I will be adding and subtracting as needed.
This project is intended to be a full delta printer design, with lots of room to upgrade, or deviate from bed-size.
The idea came forth of not having all the parts needed to build a Rosstock Mini. All the vertical items (smooth rods and bearings to roll over them) were available but the horizontal plates were not. Therefor I came up with the idea to use some other items I had laying around from building another printer. For the horizontal bars I have used a similar setup as the Kossel Mini. Misumi Bars / extrusions.
Short bill of material:
6x Smooth rods of 10mm and any length you want (75cm is what i used)
6x 20x40 extrusion of any length (about 20+cm is what I have used)
36x 623zz bearings (linear slider, custom design!)
Bunch of M3 & M5 screws
Many items are dependent on the sizes you choose above. Belts, bed size, carbon rods, etc. So I will be working on a design that will be a guideline with some more defined items and lengths.
Many parts I have gotten from older projects, but a printer like this can easily be below 300 euros if you are willing to buy some chinese parts.
Hope you will find this a nice design, as I have had lots of printing fun with it already!
Stefan
