Description
A simple cooling fan mount for my Windows Surface pro 3.
I used a 12v fan and connected it to an old USB cable.
Works very well; the build in fan disables itself now, so no more noises at all, aswell it no longer needs to underclock to stay cool. (even under heavy loads and 30°C air temperature)
my 12v fan only draws 5V x 0.04A = 0.2W, so nothing worth to worry.
