Description
I redesigned the X carriage to improve the tightness of GT2 belts grip and avoid having metal bolts screwed into plastic (here, everythings holds with metal nuts inserted in cavities reserved in the printed parts), move the Zinduction sensor on the back part to make room for fanducts, and have the possibility to install one or even two radial fan with complete fanducts to perfectly cool the printing.
It's provided with a new X axis endstop and two heights for the radial fanduct bottom part, depending on the kind of hotend you're using. Enjoy! :)
You will need :
Start by inserting the M3 nuts for the belt grips, otherwise you'll be in trouble to complete assembly! Also, install the top part(s) of the radial fanduct(s) before installing the hot end support part, otherwise you'll face the same assembly problem (not enough room to insert fixation nuts in fanduct top cavities).
Take a look at the STL file of the complete assembled thing (not suitable for printing, it's just a preview!) to have a better idea of how to put it together. :)
Update (07/18/2017) : I modified the shape of the top and bottom (both long and short) parts of the second fanduct, because the original one didn't leave enough room for the hotend wiring. I just installed this new one on my SmartAlu and it works fine. :)
