Description
I have a wakeboard boat with a couple of standalone ballast bags, along with a generic pump that has a 3/4" male threaded fitting on the end ( see photos). As a present, my friend bought me a Straight Line ballast bag, but didn't know it required a whole different water pump to fill the bag. We were unable to find a place that sold adapters to go from my pump to his bag, so....3d printing to the rescue. This parts fits very well and does the job. I did have a bit of leaking filling the bag, but it could probably be solved by putting a bit of rubber on the end of the part. I'm uploading the part in the hopes that I can save somebody similar trouble.
I recommend printing this part with heat treated PLA so that it survives the summer heat. I used Proto Pasta. ABS might also work, but I've never used it since I don't have a heated bed.Print it with supports, 100% infill for added strength.
