Description
This is a minor remix of a great design by cyril50. I increased the hole size by 5% to fit 1/4 dowels which are commonly available, and I rounded off the profile to create less of a camera footprint. I use wood dowels because they blend in better with the environments I shoot, and I can cut multiple lengths to fit based on how high I place the camera. Twigs can also be used. I modified the base to accept a 1/4" x 20 x 3/4" brass machine bolt you can buy at Lowes for less than $1. It is held tightly in place, and requires a screwdriver to set in place
