When this actually worked, I was so incredulous I detached it to make sure. It shot off with the water pressure and hit me in the face.

It prints in two pieces - the threaded socket and the center spindle. Attach them with liberal amounts of ABS glue according to the picture. Also apply a line of ABS glue to the O-ring groove to make it smooth.
