Description
A guy I know bought a little toy crossbow that shoots toothpicks, this sounded so fun to me I had to design a tiny target stand to fit the crossbows size.
The styrofoam is a 4" X 4" (or 100mm X 100mm for my metric makers). I used a relatively thick post for strength, so the styrofoam has to be pretty thick, I cut my piece off a block that came along as support for a printer I bought.
I printed 4" photos of targets and attached them with a glue stick. You could just do a search for target images, but I uploaded the ones I made just so you can save an extra step.
Obviously, this doesn't require crazy thickness or fill, but I did make it with 80% fill because it made only 3 minutes difference in time. The target holding rods are fairly thick, not that it needs it, just because I'd rather over build than have them break off. Maybe I'll update it with detachable rods, or adapt a household item. :)
I also want to point out that the unit is symmetrical so I only did 1, then just printed it twice.
