Summary

This is the first tea bowl I've designed from scratch using CAD software. My main goals with this design were appropriately scaled features including the 高台 kōdai, 茶溜まり chadamari, and a comfortably rounded 口造り kuchitsukuri. This last feature needs some more work, possibly in post-processing.

(I performed some preliminary sanding on the piece in the photographs -- you can see where supports attached on the underside have left marks that I haven't been able to eliminate yet.)

I've been using <a rel="nofollow" href="http://www.makergeeks.com/disafi.html">Maker Geeks Raptor Series PLA</a>; other specific suggestions are welcome.</p></div>
