Mechanical NOT Gate

A mechanical not gate using input and output rods. The problem with rods is when you start chaining them together you would need more and more force to operate the circuit. I guess this could be called a clocked gate? It only operates when the plunger at the bottom is pushed up. Possibly by a cam. The next row of gates would need to be delayed.. so another cam with later timing.

I have only just come up with the idea now, So will need to flesh it out. Im thinking a modular system...
