Description
I admit I am a bit neurotic when it comes to my iPhone case. After designing nearly ten separate cases, I was still on the hunt for my perfect design. I hate that we take a thin, light phone, and wrap it in a bulky case. I have various charging docks that require most cases to be removed. Lastly, I wanted a printed case that did not loosen over time, one that can hold onto the phone with more grip than the normal edge grip variety.
The X corner case provides full coverage to the phone, including fully wrapped corners, while retaining the thin, light feeling of the phone. In fact, the normal grip of the phone barely feels the presence of the case at all. The case prints in two pieces, and locks into place using the pressure of the phone itself. It is designed to allow compatibility to docks such a iHome. Simply the sleekest, lightest, less obtrusive functional case available.
There are two versions located here: A standard version with holes cut out to provide a more industrial look, and a Makerbot special edition.
Enjoy - and feedback is always welcome! If you really like the design, consider ordering one from Shapeways in smooth nylon print here: http://www.shapeways.com/shops/raedenware
