Magnetic trickle charger license plate mount

This is a license plate mount for a magnetic trickle charger connector. The connector is from Magcode. https://www.rosenberger.com/en/products/automotive/magcode.php
You can purchase them on ebay. I went with the 3 piece kit which has the "Power Port" which goes on the car and in this bracket, a cover for the port and then a "Power Clip" which you insert the charger cable into.

There are two style of mounts. One that simply bolts in front of a plate or frame and one that is designed to bolt behind the plate/frame and then encompass the top edge a bit. The latter looks sleeker but requires quite a bit of clearance above (or below if using bottom plate holes) the plate.

This is being used for a trickle charger for my lotus but you could use it for any car that uses a license plate sized for the americas and for any application where you need 12v power at that location.
