Description
I really liked the features in the TraxxasLink app but now that the connection is done through bluetooth and not anymore with the cradle that was connecting AND holding the phone on the TQi remote, I had to come with something to hold my iPhone while I was driving my X-Maxx (I tried to order an optional third hand, but they were back order :) ).
So I designed this contraption that can be clamped to my Traxxas TQi without having to modify or damage the remote control itself.
The design is made to use 4-40 UNC Nuts and bolts (bolts are 1in long). If you want to prevent scratching your remote control, you can add some self-adhesive foam on the cylindrical parts that clamps on the remote control handle (I did put some, you can see it in the pictures).
The Phone clamp is designed to fit an iPhone 5 OtterBox Defender Case. But the way I designed this contraption, you can simply create your own phone clamp to fit with the other parts.

I've added a new part for an iPhone 6 Plus, even though it's a kinda big phone to put on the top of a remote control.

I've made some modification to the tightening ring (Part 06) so it will have more tightening force. I also added a new bracket system that will be easier to mount/unmount the device.
