Description
In order to ensure better cooling of the RAMPS board and stepper drivers, I modified the lid to allow mounting of a 80mm fan. The lid can probably also be used on the enclosure for the Anet A8 mainboard.
The plan is to use a fan extender on the servo output connector of a RAMPS board to control the fan on the lid of the enclosure (and the fan on the cooling element for the hotend). I have no plans of checking the ability to do this on the Anet mainboard.
I have used a Noctua NF-R8 Redux fan on my single-fan lid (mounted on the outside).
NOTE: I have not printed the dual-fan lid, but it should be possible to mount 2 80mm fans on it.
