v2 has 3mm hole in base to help filling
but i found when the egg is 3/4 printed you can just drop in the lead if you do it bit by bit
other option is print it with out fill hole and print 2 at 1 time this will give you more time to fill the cavity. then make pin hole after to fill with epoxy or foam - water and seal hole
