2040 2020 aluminium profile Anet AM8 led holder

Simple LED holder for 2040 or 2020 aluminium profiles. You will need a 1mm by 20mm piece of aluminium sheet to act as holder.

Also, this piece of aluminium is used as heat bridge between LED and the profile. That's why no additional heatsinks are necessary. Some heat-paste between LED and aluminium sheet is recommended.

Model designed with quite high tolerances to tight-fit.

I'm running the LED from 9,5V not to overheat it. Not mounted, the aluminium sheet tops 35*C.

Printed from standard PLA. For better heat resistance I would recommend PET or ABS.
