Description
This simple design uses two M3 pan head screws and t-nuts to hold the mount to the 2020 extrusion. I power the LED strips directly from the 12V power supply.
When buying LED's keep in mind that the more LED's in a metre the hotter that the LED strip is going to be. For example, on 5M of 3014 LED's I have, it works out to 204 LED's per metre. It is going to be very bright, but I measured the temp coming off the LED strip, it was 51C. I tested the LED's in a strip and the PLA was getting pliable.
Max LEDS per metre should be kept at or below 60. This will kept the temperature of the LED strip to around 35C.
The SIDE one means it mounts on the side of the 2020. Back means it mounts on the BACK of the 2020.
