Description
This is a set of skid plates for the Onewheel. Printed skid plates wouldn't be very suitable for tricks that involve actual sliding and grinding, but should be fine for general protection. It would be cool to use these as a starting point for doing things with skid plates that are unique to 3D printing.
If you have two extruders, setup a multi part print to create a design on the bottom.
If you have a single extruder, add a design on the top of the plate that is one or two layers thick, and use a pause and filament swap to change colors.
Leave off the top solid layers and use an interesting infill pattern like Hilbert Curve with a dense infill setting, or use translucent filament so the infill pattern is visible.
Boolean some channels for running LED strings or EL wire and print with translucent filament.
