BRIDGE - Rapid one-layer bridging test

BRIDGE is a ≈8 minute object for tweaking your bridging settings. I think that the most important layer of a bridge is the first layer because it's what everything else builds onto, so we can save a lot of time by printing the first layer only. BRIDGE tests a range of unsupported bridging lengths from 5 mm to 50 mm, in 5 mm increments.

Do you just want to know what settings I use in Simplify3D?

• 75 % bridging extrusion multiplier so that the drooping plastic takes up less space in the Z axis (100 % takes up around 0.15 mm of space).
• 20 % bridging speed multiplier, which is 15 mm/s from a base speed of 75 mm/s.
• 100 % fan speed (every layer after my first layer runs at 100 % because I am using my GUST fan duct).
• Bridging angle is not normally defined, but does have to be defined at 90° for this test object.
• Apply bridging settings to perimeters set to true.
