Description
Edit: Nov. 20/17 Took me a while but i finally tested the thing. not exactly what i wanted, so i changed a few things, separated the parts into 5 now because the now part 3 is an error nightmare. Trying to figure that out then i can test it and try again. When i am finally happy with this the files will stop changing. :)
Edit: Nov. 13/17 AAAHHHH!! two pieces of my part 2 weren't on the platform, now they are, we can all calm down. I also added an alternate for p1 fasteners for the springy part that are different/better i.m.o. I am printing this out so I can test it as I am writing this edit.
This is a more useful version of my cue holder table clamp https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2640298 , same basic stuff though, the pic should be enough explanation for assembly, the springy pieces should be bent over a 1 " cylinder of some sort or by hand so they are bent when not under pressure i have shown in one of the pics. So they don't break, It should easily hold over 20 lbs of force but i may need to use a more permanent fastener instead of the quick clips i have included, i have to test er out. Was thinking that spongy shelf liner to glue to the pressure surfaces or maybe some thin grippy rubber, not sure yet.
Part 1 should be printed in decent resolution, .14-.18
Part 2 no special requirements except that more layers should be stronger than less layers i am going to do .3 resolution
Part 3 needs supports and can be .4 if you so choose
**note: i haven't tested the parts yet and how they fit together when printed, i am hoping well...lol
