BFight210 Top Shark Fin

This shark fin replaces the top plate of the BFight210 quadcopter. The main plate part of this is 3mm thick. The original included screws look to be long enough to hold it securely in place. The original zip tie holes are still place. They may be useful to zip tie parts to the top plate.

Why use a shark fin? First off, they're awesome. Second, if you're using BetaFlight 3.2 or later, this shark fin should keep at least 2 propellers out of the grass when you crash upside down. With at least 2 props out of the grass, you can use "turtle mode" to try to flip you back over and continue the race.

I printed this with PLA at 50% infill so it would work well as a replacement top plate. I flew this in very cold weather and broke the top part of the fin off in the first crash but that is most likely because PLA is more brittle in the cold. The top plate has held up better than the original carbon fiber top.

I used Cura to do the slicing. If you're having problems slicing it with another program, try it again with Cura. I'm still learning how to 3D design. The edges are pretty rough, but it looks pretty good printed.
