Using BlocksCAD, a free online software designed to teach students coding and Computer Aided Design, students will design a 3D Robot. Using shapes & translate (with rotation optional) students will be exposed to computational thinking to construct something they can 3D print!
The Robot Activity is best for 3rd - 6th grade and as an introductory activity for students with no BlocksCAD experience. For students with more BlocksCAD experience or as an extension you may want to try the with our [Snowflake Activity](https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2683342).
As an Teacher you can create a free trial of our [BlocksCAD for Education](https://www.blockscad3d.com/plans-and-pricing) platform. From here you can create classes with unique join codes and manage student work.
