Edit: Jan/26/2018 - updated the fan shrouds with a new, uniform design

We took an existing hotend mount on Thingiverse and modified it for improved fit and ease of use. This hotend mount will correctly mount a titan extruder, while the original version remixed from does not (the stepper mounting plate was too thick for proper tightening of the titan mounting screws) We also modified it for ease of mounting, by putting in a relief for the hotend carriage as it has a nut and bolt that can interfere with the original design. This version also has a single mounting screw as it gets locked into position with the 2 extruded screw holes originally used for the stock hotend. This allows the entire assembly to be removed without any disassembly of any component. We also added an additional cable mount which really stiffens your wire harness up so that it isn't flopping around and does not require additional support.

the back of the this mount has 4 nut traps for using M3 screws to mount the fans. they are slightly undersized as they need to be heated with a soldering iron or lighter and then pushed into place so they don't come out.

The attached photo shows the mounting hole used with a 12mm M3 screw and a lock washer. Lock washer is critically important as the screw can come loose otherwise

***Looking for a V6 mount? We have a V6 version of this mount right here!
