Added a printable part, replica of Z End Stop support for who build from scratch and not do the swapping from Anet A8.

08 January 2018:
Added variants to be used with IGUS Mini linear guide (on Z axis) Kit: TKE-04-015-1-352 (you need 2, one for each side: 1 fix and 1 floating LLZ), if you want to use smooth rods and upgrade later to the linear guides, you need also the parts TP11-xxxx and ZMT11-xxxx that you can find in the versions A8-R-xxxxx.

Custom XZ printable idlers (Parts: PP-CXZ-R-SI15, PP-CXZ-L-SI15) for this versions will be released during january 2018.

You can use other linear guides too: holes diameter is M3 spaced every 40mm, but we will not design the custom XZ chariot for all existing linear guides.

With the design of this new two variants we gained 32mm in operational length on X axis; this allows the use of dual extruder with separate nozzle covering the whole 220mm heated bed size.

The first four variants of TATARA A8 Steel V1.10, code name: HAYABUSA have been published the 1.1.2018:
A8-R-82h7
A8-R-80H7
A8-R-82h7-KLF08
A8-R-80H7-KLF08
All this versions are for ANET A8 direct swap or for new build with 8mm rods.
•Versions with 80H7 in the name: is for people can have manufactured with high precision and the 8mm rods hole are 8mm to be cut with H7 tolerance (0 to +0.015mm).
•Version with 82h7 in the name: the rods holes are 8.2mm to be cut with a negative tolerance and can use 3d printed part RPL11 and RLZB11 to precise align the rods and lock it to avoid wobbling.
•Versions with KLF08 in the name: have 2 extra holes in Z axis top plate (part TP11-KFL08-xxxx) to screw a KLF08 bearing to lock the lead screw in Z axis.

•You can also download extra laser cut parts; LCD2004 Screen holder and Y Fix belt tensioner.
•You can also download printed Parts: need and precise align locker.

My self and Tommaso Collini (https://www.thingiverse.com/musta/about) we tried to implement easy solution to solve common issue we found on Anet A8 printer and most of cartesian printers. We believe Tatara frame is the best steel frame you can build.
In our design all parts are inter locked that ensure great stiffness and perfect geometry on all 3 dimensions.
What is special in our design:

•XY frame to make all build more rigid, this is a major improvement against all others cartesian (prusa design clone) Steel frame that let you push printing speed to 150-180mm/sec, 20-25mm/sec2 jerk 1200 mm/sec2 print acceleration with good quality
•We add the option to add 6 LEVEL FOOT to level the printer
Nyloc/Lock nuts compatible by design
many small improvement that make the frame incredible rigid with virtual no resonance during printing.
Damn heavy, more than 9Kg only for frame. Because we are not overseas seller's weight is not a problem but a feature:
-lower center of gravity
-weight leads to a higher inertia and therefore less high-frequency vibration

Why Steel??
Steel is the material that gives the best ratio stiffness (young's modulus) vs cost/volume.
To achieve same stiffness with other materials you need to use, at least, a sheet 3 time thicker.

To be manufactured of carbon steel (requires painting) or stainless steel.
We strongly suggest the use of a material with a minimum Young Modulus of 196 GPa ( double check it before you get your frame cut).

Is designed for 3mm thickness (clearance is 3.2mm so maybe you can also use 1/8"-> 3.175mm))

people who sell Tatara frame on internet don't give any % to the designers (us) then if you enjoy the Tatara frame ( or if you make money with it)

All measurement are the same as Anet A8 and you have to change only the frame and maybe the screws (depend what length of screw you get on your original Anet A8).

The draw is done from scratch, by your humble servant.

Since then more than hundreds users swap to Tatara A8 steel and push their 3D printing quality and speed to unknow frontiers.

Many users also decide to build a 3D printer from scratch using Tarara A8 Steel Frame.

This is work in progress, if you decide to laser cut is at your own risk we don't give any guaranties.
ATTENTION: Maybe your laser cut service need to do the nesting and bridging for optimization.

REMEMBER TO "Electrical Grounding" the steel frame !!!!!!

** Attention **
if you use anet board with anet stock FW the Y motor go to the left and nOT to the right like in the images, if you use marlin as FW you just need invert direction of Y motors in your FW
