Description
Three piece minimalistic keyboard frame for GH60 PCB, can be printed with smaller printers than full sized keyboard frames (longest side of parts is less than 100mm) and is really good for testing and even normal everyday use. Frame pieces are tight fit, but there are screwholes to attach pieces with some regular plastic screws.
If you are building this keyboard you need GH60 keyboard PCB, keyboard switches and key caps set. Soldering switches to PCB without positioning board can be quite tricky but it's definitely doable.
Keyboard works really well and is surprisingly good to use. Even without full frame supporting the PCB it is not flexing too much and keyboard is really sturdy. Some table surfaces can be quite slippery against PLA parts and keyboard might slip. Maybe in future i could update model to allow some anti slipping pads, or frame parts can be painted with some rubbery coating (plastidip or similar) to avoid slipping and improving looks.
