TFM 8 - 3d printed Transverse Flux Generator

Transverse flux machine (TFM) is a very interesting technology for electric motors and generators. Machines of this type work well where there are low speeds and high torque
The transverse flux technology was first described by W. M. Morday, who got patent in 1895.
In TFM generator there is only one coil inside the iron yoke. It is also possible to make a 3-phase generator.
As an electric motor TFM can be used in transport, for example, electric cars, electric bike, scooter, electro-skateboard and so on.
TFM generator can be used in wind and hydro generators. There is no need for gearboxes as the generator works at low RPM very well.
Main advantages:
-Low rotary speeds (less 1000RPM)
-High continuous torque.
-High coefficient of copper wire use.
-Low cost.
-Small size.

Printed parts are three models. This is the two body caps and the rotor.
Iron plates I cut out of electrical steel 0.5mm thick.

Shaft 8mm bearing 608 (you can pick out from old spinners)
Magnets 10X5X5mm - axial magnetization as in the pictures.
