Replicator 2 Plate Holder (4 Point Leveling)

I wanted a bigger build volume for my CTC Replicator, and decided to get the Replicator 2 build plate from Makerbot. I went with this option because I personally have had a great experience with how level and uniform this build surface is. Also, I print directly on the build plate with a glue stick and it works every time.This is designed to allow build surface removal, but only for PLA printing as this is a non-heated build plate. I printed this in PLA at 190C, and its plenty strong enough to keep form with frequent plate removal. But its also springy enough to pull the back tab and pull the plate out.

I suppose you could use a different build plate with this adapter, but it was designed specifically for the Rep 2 build plate. If you have a Replicator 2, this might be a good way to implement a 4 - point leveling system.

I am using shorter springs than stock for the front two of the leveling system. I believe this is because the plastic arms are slightly warped upwards so the back and front of the plate need to be leveled at different heights.
