Description
I gave this an overhaul and re-branded it Taurus to go with the Taurus Z axis as a next step for relocating the PSU off the frame.
You will need 2 M4x14mm screws and 2 M4 hex nuts. This now uses my extrusion slot-lock system in addition to the t-nuts that the PSU used, for a dual axis clamp. See instruction in Taurus Z for slot-lock install.
Position t-nuts close to holes in brace and use hex wrench through hole to position them closely. Tighten down with the two M3x10 that were holding the PSU. For slot lock, use 2 M3x20mm screws. Tighten them equally, switching between them until snug. Do not over-tighten.
I made this beefy so if you don't have polycarbonate you will still get good rigidity from PETG. I recommend 0.15 layer, 10% Gyroid. Yes, the clip prints vertically for strength. Do not reorient. Add brim if needed.
I printed mine in Thingiverse blue. J/K, it’s atomic pearl blue petg.
