Replacement Battery Door for Yamaha SHS-10 Keytar

The battery door cover on the Yamaha SHS-10 keytar is notorious for getting broken or lost. In fact if you go looking for one of these vintage 1980s instruments on eBay you’ll see many are missing this part. Here’s a durable and secure replacement!

Prints in 4 pieces that should be joined with 5-MINUTE EPOXY and allowed to FULLY CURE OVERNIGHT before use. Print the spring clip piece ON ITS SIDE to allow flexing without breaking. Optionally glue down a scrap of craft foam on the inside to add some tension between the battery and door.

Use either the “4 piece” file to print everything in one go, or I’ve also included separate files if you need them (print two of the #3 piece).
