Description
This is another riff on the battery travel case I made ( https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1567301 ), except designed for the Canon LP-E6N battery. I've used that battery case for a couple years now, and it's been flawless. I just upgraded to a Canon 7D Mark II, so it was time to recreate the design for that LP-E6N battery. I reduced the number of SD card slots to 2, because I honestly never used the third one. I have provided a plated version for your convenience.
The top is a press fit, so dimensional accuracy is important. I printed this on a new Creality CR-10, which hasn't been tweaked yet and is producing some awful ringing. I had to sand the corners slightly to make the top fit on without getting stuck. Your mileage may vary. You also shouldn't try to put the top on without batteries in the box, as you run a serious risk of getting the top stuck on. Friction is sometimes not your friend.
