Description
I was asked to upload the altered file I used by a couple of users, so here it is.
I just thickened the original file using meshmixer so the file would print the mask and not just support material, which the original model did for me. (Made it more printer-friendly.)
You should be able to scale the X to your face width (at the temples [either side of your eyes]) in millimeters (may want to add 1-2 mm to ensure a good fit.)
I scaled it up a bit too much (my face is 125 mm at temples, and I scaled it to 135 mm... so - too much) on my first print, and had to use 8 layers of 1mm craft foam glued inside to hold it in place (pictured), which is not such a bad thing as it's softer than plastic, but 8 layers seems like overkill. The scale I used also makes it a bit long in the nose for me.
I printed this with 10% infill in PETG and I used supports to ensure it would print properly.
I'll be printing another one soon with better scaling.
Props to buchsixghoul for such a great design!
