28byj-48 Stepper Motor translation Module

Cheap Motor, USB-Power, tow a car . . . possible?

Not there yet, but move something around with some strength :)

A configurable and modular translation for 28byj-48 5 or 12 V motor.

• from 2 up to 6 Transmission gears, 1-3 Stacks (just Scale them in z on your behalf or print distance parts),
• the exit_gear is for connecting the transmission to something else
• mount the motor in by cutting out housing_cutout out of something else
• use fit_in_model to find out where to place the cutout
• use metal (i used brass) for the axis and grease gears and axes
• use Public Domain Involute Parameterized Gears

fitting gears are:
gear(mm_per_tooth=2.5,number_of_teeth=[choose by application],thickness=[choose by application],hole_diameter=4.125+-);

1 motor axis and 3 gear axis:
a) motor_shaft_axis
b) gear_stack_axis 1 (Closest to the motor axis)
c) gear_stack_axis 2
d) exit_gear_axis

instructions, place washer in between to reduce friction if needed:

1. put exit gear on axis d)
2. put middle_gear on axis c)
3. a. put middle_gear on axis b) and repeat from 2. or b. put top_gear on axis b) and go on
4. put main_gear_v3 with axis a)
