Description

The snow is a winter-time part of a life here and I got sick of going home after every little crash or just inaccurate landing. Snow gets inside the electronics and even plastic-coated electronics gets malfunctions. I guess it's because of shortenings in parts like USB connector that isn't coated.
Well, I decided to make a canopy that will cover my build as good as possible from the snow. I'm not a designer or an artist of any sort, but I have a 3d printer and I can try.

To make sure that canopy will fit all of my components, I roughly modeled them in CAD and then made the canopy.

My build is:

Realacc X210 V+ frame
Matek FCHUB-VTX (PDB with video transmitter and pig-tail for antenna)
Matek F405-STD flight controller
Full sized RunCam Swift RR (first edittion with gopro lens by Rotor Riot)
FrSky X4R-SB receiver
Microphone from banggood
little buzzer
All of those above covered by the canopy. The camera is tilted 30 degrees.

Funny that the result looks like little piggy, it even has a pig tail ;) I'm thinking to draw a piggy nose on camera lens cap... So I named it "The piggy".

I'm still in process of fitting everything together while waiting for next revision of the design with small fixes printed. Will post real photos of my quad after that. There are renders for now

moved the USB hole 2mm back to meet the usb on FC. Sorry =\
changed USB plug so it meets new hole position

UPDATE 2018-03-12
Version 2:

a hole for USB connection
a plug that is better to print of TPU or some other flexible filament
altered an angle of the tubes for RX antennas to make 90 degree between them

Feel free to make holes or reshape it for your components, just dont forget to share your results here as a remix ;)
