Description
This tool holder is made specifically for Prusa i3 MK2S (and mk2.5), don't know if it fits any other printers. It goes onto the top of the PSU and is fastened with zip ties.
The one with holes in it is made for my tools (a spatula, cutting pliers, caliper and steel ruler), and as I understand everyone has different needs and different tools, I've included a blank version.
UPDATE: Added stl for a stopper shelf that keep longer tools (like a ruler) from hanging down too far. Note: use at you own risk, if the shelf hooks break off, they will most likely fall into the PSU.
Just load up the blank version into Tinkercad, Fusion 360 or whatever STL editor you like, and customize with any holes you need.
Installation
Bend the zip ties before threading them through the grille. Be careful and make sure you don't dislodge any components inside. There are lots of holes for zip ties, I use only the middle one on the front and the back one, it seems to be enough.
The top of the PSU of my printer measures around 48.5 x 100 mm.
WARNING
NEVER EVER stick any metal or other conductive material into the power supply unit, you might kill yourself and/or your printer! I take no responsibility for any damage or injury caused by this design.
