These are corner clips designed to hold a 3mm x 215x215mm Glass Plate on the standard Tevo Tarantula 220x220 heated bed.

Functional Description

1. A single design for all 4 corners
2. Allowed tolerance for different sized plates
3. No supports
4. Minimize parts and material usage
5. Design can't interfere with print volume

This is actually, the third or fourth iteration of the design. I originally took inspiration from a CR-10 Clip (thing #2590668) but realized that a static clip on each of the corners didn't work for me. I had two glass plates that while close to 215x215mm, they weren't exact and they weren't the same. So I needed something that would keep the glass in place but allow for the flexibility of changing glass plates between prints.

I tried everything from spring-loaded, knob tightening, but nothing quite worked. The biggest issue wasn't that I couldn't get something to work, is that most of the designs ended up being overly complex, or had extra "mass above the top of the glass, which when I ran my printer into that corner would cause a collision between my Fan Fang.

Then I stumbled onto bernbout's Springy Bed Clamps (thing:1614463). This seemed like a decent idea, but when I looked at the design it seemed too complex, and not easy to print. And it had multiple parts. So I took this as inspiration, modified my static corner clip to have a spring mechanism and bam... worked perfectly.

Printing and Assembly

This should be printed in your choice of heat-resistant materials. As this comes into close contact with the heated bed, PLA is NOT a suitable material. PETG and ABS are good choices.

The piece is designed to have the stock 1mm heat resistant washer placed between the heated bed and the clip. This is to provide some clearance to the part. Spring is inserted after the clip has been installed.
