Airsoft Barrel Spacer Type 96, L96 MB06 SR-2 ASR

This is another barrel spacer for Airsoft type 96. I wasn't happy with the others out there, so I made my own. This is meant for use with TPU or other flexible materials. ABS or PLA will not fit correctly and may damage the components if forced in. I printed 3 of these and spaced them along the barrel.

The lead in edges are tapered and rounded so inserting inner barrel and pressing into outer barrel are made easily.

There are 4 different files, print which ever you prefer or works best for you.

1. Exactfit - this is sized to fit perfectly into the barrel without any real force needed.
2. 006overfit - same as exactfit, but has an extra .006" added to the inner and outer diameters making for a more tight press in fit
3. 012overfit - same as exactfit, but has .012" added to the inner and outer diameter for a heavy interference fit. The TPU is still able to flex enough to fit this, but is quite a bit more difficult to install.
4. l96spacer.prt is the original CAD file if you wish to alter it. It is the Exactfit size file

I like the 006overfit file as it seems to work the best for my setup. But this will vary greatly depending on gun tolerances and printer settings.

I filled @ 40% with 2 outer shells. Allows for a stiff but slightly squishy spacer.
