Description
I have a bowden setup on my Anet a8 and use the stock spool holder off to the side of my printer. I didn't like how twisted and messy the line of filament looked as it was pulled up to the extruder. This twist also caused the spool to rock back and forth on the holder which may or may not cause inconsistent load on the filament line.
To solve this I simply remade the stock spool holders middle arm to fit a PC4-M6 tub fitting. I also drilled and tapped the stock extruders spring arm to also fit a PC4-M6 fitting but the way you do this is up to you as there are many different bowden extruder motor solutions out there.
