Description
My Turnigy Fabrikator II Mini uses 4 x 2 mm Allen Key screws to level the bed - two of which are at the back of the closed metal housing, and REALLY hard to access with the supplied 2 mm Allen Key. What I needed was an Allen Key with a longer handle - or an extension handle for the supplied Allen Key - so I made one!
After a bit of trial and error, I found that if I printed at 0.1 mm resolution, the 2.0 mm Allen Key fits nicely into a 2.2 mm hexagonal hole, which is how the STL file is sized. It's a loose fit, so the Allen Key can be removed easily.
YMMV - you may need to scale the hole up or down a bit to fit a 2 mm key - or scale the whole print if you want to make a handle for a different sized Allen Key.
UPDATE: I needed a 2.5 mm Allen Key holder as well, so I have added the file for it, and both designs have the size embossed onto the handle
