Description
Kilauea Crater constructed using 2 meter resolution LiDAR data from NOAA. The source data contained just over a million data points so the STL has about 12.5 million facets/polygons. This is why the STL is so large. I had to try a couple of times to get a file small enough to upload. I made this using new software I wrote for processing LiDAR data. The data was collected in 2005.
