Description

I love my Worx Leaf Blower and Weed Whacker, but the battery life of the 20v 1.5ah batteries are not enough to blow off my whole roof, or whack my whole yard.

My solution is a custom designed battery emulator, it fits the power tools perfectly and even has a lock with release lever (built in bridge support). The connector has a very satisfying click when attached and is very sturdy. I was able to print on low settings on a M3D Micro (barely fit).

Using a 6ah (5s3p) DIY 18650 battery pack I'm able to achieve at least an hour of runtime on each tool with what seems to be slightly improved power. Using a watt meter I can see how much energy is used to cut the grass :) This is compared to the tiny 1.5ah stock battery that lasts for 15 minutes.
You could in theory also use with with an AC-DC 20v adapter to make these tools corded, but big batteries are fun.

To make the connection to the power tool, I used bent nickel strips and soldered wires with a connector that can go directly to BMS or Watt Meter. Use the far left and right holes for positive and negative (see pictures).
