Car Permit Holder / Residents Parking Permit etc - Fully Customizable

This is a holder for a residents parking permit. It's designed to be just left on the dash when needed.

It can be customised in OpenSCAD.

I suggest printing this in something which has a higher glass transition temperature like ABS (105C). I found PLA would warp easily in the heat even in the relatively cold country I live in.

I found having it at least 5mm thick would help prevent warping too.

The design features a slot at the back for sliding the permit in and out. I did this so the permit won't just fall out of the holder too easily.

I printed this standing up with a single layer brim of 10 outlines offset by 0.05. No supports needed.
