Summary

Thanks to bbo and his Whirlpool Duet II Handle (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2244679), I was able to repair our broken door handle. However, my wife missed the aesthetics of the original part, so I went ahead and made a new model. This is more of a derivative than a remix. However, it was heavily inspired by bbo's handle.

It uses the original hardware, and accommodates the little "hooks" on the door so it will mount much like the original. the difference is that it's beefier in places, and I didn't include the dimples on the front....sorry.

It's best to print it upright with the wider side down.  This way there is less chance of the handle breaking when pulling the door open.rnrnI did not use rafts or brims, but that's up to you and your printer.  </p></div>

Post-Printing

Installation

            <div><p>Once you clean all the supports out, installation is a breeze.  Simply slide the handle in from the front of the door so that the handle engages the little catches (or hooks) on the front.  Then align the standoffs on the print with the holes in the door and replace the screws.  Done!</p></div>

Otherwise, it was modeled from from the ground up with love.  And a few curse words. </p></div>
