This is a remix of the excellent Secret Hitler Board Game Enhanced by calvintam, a 3D-print adaptation of the popular print and play hidden identity party game Secret Hitler. While printing calvintam's adaptation, I ran into several problems, and decided to fix them.
Notes About this Print
- The role cards shown in the picture are not included in this thing. These where made by Duftpukie and can be obtained here.
- To obtain colour contrast on the boards, simply change filament at the appropriate height. Colour contrast on the cards is obtained by printing insets separately and gluing them onto blank cards.
- The estimated plastic cost of this entire set is about $3.50 of new filament.
What's New in This Remix
- The insides of the letters A, O, and R of the Chancellor's nameplate lettering are properly suspended, with recessed supports. Also, the inside bottom rabbet of the President's nameplate was added to that of the Chancellor's, to match.
- The rear support on both nameplates was made thinner and longer, so that it prints faster and so that the nameplates rest at an angle of 45 degrees.
- The bottom and top geometry of both boards was cleaned up to ensure better printing and bed adhesion (these parts are very big) and to achieve better colour contrast by printing different filaments on different layers. I also added additional symbols to the fascist board to support 5-10 players, along with reminder text.
- Removed the slots on the backsides of the policy cards. These require the printer to print bridges and bridges are very difficult to print cleanly and consistently. Consistently is important for the backs of the cards to make sure they are indistinguishable.
- In order to increase contrast on the policy cards, I separated the content portion of the policy cards, thereby creating insets to be printed separately and glued into policy blanks.
