Description
While moving my older Harbor Freight floor drill press to my new workshop, I broke the front panel that holds the power switch and light switch. Several years in the Texas heat had made the plastic very brittle, and it broke at every attachment point. Managed to find all the pieces and reassembled enough to get decent measurements. This is the result. The slopes on the front aren't identical, but they're really close. About to run my first print and see how close it is to the original. All the holes should line up well within best of the Chinese factory tolerances where the original was made. ;-P
Not sure exactly which model drill press this is for as all my original labels are long gone, but I know it's a slightly older one with the round table with the lubricant catch bottle under the table and the lubricant feed bottle on the left side of the head of the machine. The light is recessed up in the head and there are three pulleys under the top shroud.
Hope someone else finds this useful as well.
